SCREENPLAY CRITIQUE

I will provide you comprehensive proofreading and critically constructive notes with a quick turnaround time!

As each Script is unique, it will be reviewed on its own story structure, characters, dialogue, theme, etc. You will not be given a rating or a comparison chart. There is no minimum or maximum number of pages of Notes you will receive, but simply a comprehensive review of corrections and suggestions with honest and helpful feedback!

All of the below rates are effective as of January 1, 2024:

For Scripts up to 30 pages (not including cover page) = $100

  • Includes proof reading and constructive critical notes, along with one phone/video meeting up to 20 minutes

  • Updated script review along with additional phone/video meeting up to 20 minutes = $50

For Scripts 31 to 60 pages (not including cover page) = $200

  • Includes proofreading and constructive critical notes, along with one phone/video meeting up to 20 minutes

  • Updated script review along with additional phone/video meeting up to 20 minutes= $50

For Scripts 61 pages to 120 pages (not including cover page) = $300

  • If the Script is more than 120 pages, there will be an additional $1/page charge. For example, 135 pages = $315

  • Includes proofreading and constructive critical notes, along with one phone/video meeting up to 40 minutes

  • Updated script review along with additional phone/video meeting up to 40 minutes = $100

If you just want proofreading, then it’s $1 per script page, and no conversation.

If you just want general feedback, then it’s $1 per script page, and no conversation.

Effective January 1, 2024: Now offering ongoing Screenplay Consulting. If there’s an idea you are trying to put into a first draft, I can help you figure out the bones of your script. My rate is $100 per hour in 15 minute increments. We will discuss your idea, we will discuss what choices you have for character, structure, and influences.

You can request additionally services for an additional fee, such as:

  • Log-line with up to 1-page Story Summary

  • Proofreading your marketing materials for crowdfunding and financing, website promotion, etc.

  • Finished Cut Review: after you’ve finished editing but before submit to film festivals, etc., you can send me a private link to watch so I can provide you feedback on how it might be received, story structure, editing suggestions, etc.
